Santa Barbara

Spring 2018

Downtown

For the last week of Spring Break, my family and I took a road trip to Santa Barbara. The first night, found a small empty beach right next to a small boat dock next to the harbor. We stayed there for a while, admiring the Santa Barbara shoreline. The sun set behind the mountains, and the sky turned a bright, radiant pink. It was a lovely place to be, with the waves bringing the background music.

The next day, we went biking along Cabrillo path. It was a beautiful day, and it was fun to bike along the beach, with the pathway lined with palm trees. For the rest of the day, we stayed near the harbor and on the beach.

On the way back home, we visited Spolberg, a small European town. There, we stopped for a quick break to eat a quick breakfast snack. We had freshly baked German pastries, as well as cookies and coffee.

Arryo Grande

One day, we stopped at Arryo Grande to go ATVing. There were sand dunes for as far as the eye could see, right along the beach. The sand dunes were fun to ride along, but also scary as there were huge steep cliffs that were hard to see — you have to be careful not to fly over. It's always a great time to ride as fast and far as your heart desires.
